Individual practical training
Around eight hours of intensive practice on Krk or in Rovinj. It is just you and the instructor aboard, so every manoeuvre can be repeated as often as needed.

According to the official website, Category B covers private boats up to 15 m and yachts up to 18 m without crew, within 12 NM of the nearest coast. Always confirm final requirements with the competent harbour master office.
The course is organised as a one-day preparation session. It usually lasts about eight hours, although some published summer dates have adjusted times shown next to the date.
Category A is intended for smaller boats up to 7 m with engines up to 15 kW, within 6 NM of the coast. Category B covers larger vessels and a wider navigation area and is generally the more common choice.
Supplementary radiotelephony is intended for people holding an old licence issued when radiotelephony was not included.
The individual practical course lasts approximately eight hours. It is held on Krk around Soline Bay or in Rovinj by prior arrangement.
The published price includes the boat, skipper, fuel and lunch. One non-participating companion costs an additional €30 and one additional participant €100.
The exam can be taken at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure at Prisavlje 14 in Zagreb, or at harbour master offices on the coast, depending on the program and date.
