A full day of real work aboard a boat
The course is individual: only the instructor and student are aboard. Over approximately eight hours, the student continually performs manoeuvres without waiting for a large group, so every procedure can be repeated as often as needed.
Training is held on Krk in Soline Bay, or in Rovinj from the harbour at the Villas Rubin resort. The program can be delivered in Croatian or English.
Boats and locations
- Krk: 5.90 m Fishermann Striker training boat with a 40/60 hp outboard engine.
- Rovinj: Prestige Ranger 550 with an 80 hp engine.
Training program
- introduction to the boat and equipment,
- safety aboard,
- berthing and mooring to a buoy,
- bow-first and alongside berthing,
- berthing between boats,
- bow and stern anchoring and anchoring with two anchors,
- navigation and conduct in harbours and marinas,
- navigation towards lighthouses,
- collision avoidance and independent decision-making.
Price and included services
The published price is €499. The boat, skipper, fuel and lunch are included. One non-participating companion costs an additional €30 and one additional participant €100.
The date is arranged individually and may depend on weather, location and boat availability.
